We are here to help. Consistency is important for your puppy to be able to translate the skills they learn in Puppy training to your home environment. At the same time, your puppy will benefit from. Continuing your pup’s training at home is imperative! We will give you information and detailed instructions including the verbal cues and hand signals we use so you can reinforce your puppy’s new skills at home. Youll learn: housebreaking your puppy, crate training your puppy, and the basics of puppy obedience. Note that our Citizen Canine Academy can be tailored for a puppy’s specific needs, but is not intended to treat extreme anxiety, reactivity or aggression.Īt Citizen Canine Academy we believe that the puppy and their parent must work in tandem.A Final Report Card to show off all your puppy’s new skills and behaviors.Regular updates detailing your dog's progress.Detailed instructions including how to use the verbal cues and hand signals we teach so you can reinforce your puppy’s new skills at home.Groups are closely monitored structured off-leash play. One-on-one instruction with a trainer and socialized group play.Owners will gain a better understanding of dog. Off days and weekends are for puppy to practice skills at home and bond with their family. Our puppy classes focus on all of the necessary foundation skills to raise a confident, well-rounded puppy. Four or five days per week attendance for four consecutive weeks.Puppies are introduced to off-leash dog play, veterinary and grooming handling and social skills. Our Level 1 Puppy Kindergarten is a 4 week training program in which we use only positive reward based training to help your puppy learn fundamentals, impulse control, basic pet obedience, leash skills, and social skills. This class is for puppies 8-25 weeks old to learn basic behaviors & fun tricks to get their life off to a great start This class covers basic developmental behavior skills such as sit, down, come, emergency recall, drop it, leave it, leash walking, and more This class is a great complement to the Puppy Socialization Class.
